Shane Bennitt, CEO, Founder, and Owner of Prestige Business Network, was born in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, and has built a distinguished career spanning several decades in the financial services industry. Beginning his professional journey in 1988, he gained extensive experience in both marketing and financial advisory, including three years in the United Kingdom at a well-respected financial institution.

In 2001, he returned to South Africa to establish his own financial advisory business, which he successfully built and sold in 2018.

In 2019, while exploring his passion for conservation and the outdoors, he embarked on a new entrepreneurial journey to create an innovative business platform. Over several developmental phases, and with the vision and expertise of his co-founder and business partner, Leigh Van Der Mescht, this vision evolved into Prestige Business Network — a forward-thinking platform for businesses of all sizes, officially launching in March 2026.
